"Whirligigs" was started in a workshop with Quilting Fairy, Fiona, and was gifted to my daughter, Trudi. It was a bit tricky with the pieced hexagons, but Fiona's a really good teacher!
The next one is not really a quilt at all.

| Patience February |
Technically this is a coverlet because it is lined but has no wadding. I've called it "Patience" because it was six years in the making and is completely hand pieced. The 12" sampler blocks were begun in a hand piecing class and I decided that I didn't want "just another sampler quilt", so I turned the five blocks that I had completed into a medallion with more piecing and needle turn applique, then added a couple of borders.
